ABOUT THE AAMO
The AAMO is a partnership of national management organisations in
the Asian region whose purpose is to share and actively leverage resources
to enhance the achievement of their respective missions.
The AAMO is an independent, non-political and
not-for-profit association of national management organisations in
the Asian region, promoting, facilitating and supporting the development
of professional management.

ACTIVITIES
The activities of the AAMO are aimed at but not limited to the following:
Facilitate
a bi-annual meeting of AAMO Council, to lead and
govern AAMO
Establish
and maintain active links between NMOs
Provide
a framework for facilitating the widest range of bilateral initiatives
Facilitate
networking across NMOs in the region and beyond
Facilitate
sharing of resources and knowledge
Manage and maintain a regional level web site and regional information service in support of today’s interconnected management world and the demand for ready access to up-to-date management information, thinking and views
Add
an international dimension to NMOs their activities and their image
Organise
and conduct specific (non-competitive) management programs, supported
by the NMOs who have an interest

AAMO SECRETARIAT
Currently the AAMO Secretariat is located in Hong Kong which took
over the Presidency of AAMO from India in September 2007 with Dr T
L Sun as the President and Ms. Helen Li is the Head Operational Office
of AAMO in Hong Kong.
The AAMO Presidency will rests with Hong Kong till 2010.
